Voice Mail

If your Voice Mail Service has been activated automatically then you should have received a related SMS message from Bakcell. Now you can play your incoming messages from your own phone, as well as any other phone.

• To listen to the received messages from your own number, dial  7072call and follow the main menu instructions

• To listen to the received messages from another Bakcell number, dial  7071call and follow the main menu instructions

• To listen to the received messages while you’re on roaming, dial plus94557071000call and follow the main menu instructions

• To listen to the recorded messages from another Azerbaijan mobile operator’s number , dial  0557071000call and follow the main menu instructions

• To listen to the recorded messages from a landline, dial 0557071000call and follow the main menu instructions

To play your Voice Mail box messages from another phone you need to set a personal password. To do this dial  7072 on your mobile and follow instructions to set your personal password for Voice Mail box. Password can be set only within the home network (not while you are on roaming).

When accessing the Voice Mail Service from general access (via  7071 or plus994557071000 number), you can listen to the messages and change Voice Mail Service settings (except for password settings)

All automatically activated customers are set at a common single call diverting option – “no answer”. That is, all incoming calls will be automatically diverted to your Voice Mail box after 30 seconds. However, you can change your Voice Mail Service settings to suit your convenience.

• If you want all incoming calls to be automatically diverted to your Voice Mail box all the times please choose “All calls” option by dialing  starstar21star8000000hashcall

• If you want incoming calls to be diverted to your Voice Mail box after 30 seconds, please choose “no answer” option by dialing  starstar61star8000000hashcall

• If you want incoming calls to be diverted to your Voice Mail box if your phone is out of reach, please choose “out of reach” option by dialing  starstar62star8000000hashcall

• If you want incoming calls to be diverted to your Voice Mail box if you are talking to another caller, please choose “busy” option by dialing  starstar67star8000000hashcall

You can also activate your Voice Mail Service by visiting one of our Customer Care Centers or by contacting the Call Center.

To help you avoid unexpected spendings your Voice Mail Service is not activated automatically in roaming.

Thus, if you wish to use this service while being abroad, you will need to activate it yourself. To do this fill number plus994558000008 into “Call diverting” section of you phone’s menu. As soon as you fill the new number for diverting, all missed calls to your phone will be diverted to your Voice Mail box.

To deactivate Voice Mail Service in roaming please replace number for diverting with   plus994558000000 .

• To deactivate Voice Mail Service in any language setting please dial  star137hashcall on your phone

To change the language of your Voice Mail Service you need to deactivate the service in the current language and activate it in the preferred language again. Please note that after deactivation all of your previous Voice Mail Service settings and messages will be automatically erased.

After activating your Voice Mail Service you need to select your personal settings, i.e. change the standard password (which will be automatically selected by the system) to your own personal password, assign name to your Voice Mail and record a welcoming greeting\message for the customers calling you, just like you would do on your home answering machine. To do this, please dial  7072call from your mobile and follow the instructions.

To access your Voice Mail Service from a landline, any other Bakcell number, any other operator’s mobile number or when you’re on roaming you need to enter your chosen four digit password.

The system will automatically set the password to 0000 and ask you to change it to your own personal password. To set your own personal password:

• When your are in the main menu dial  0431

• Following the instructions, set your own personal password and dial  hash

• You can also set the option of Fast Access to Voice Mail Service by turning off the password request. To do this, please dial  04322hash on your phone

You can assign a personal name to your Voice Mail which will replace information about your number in standard greeting.

To record the “name” in main menu please dial  363hash and

• 1 to save the name

• 2 to record the name

You can record a greeting for customers calling you, like you would do on the home answering machine. You can record:

• «Personal greeting», which will always play for all incoming calls

• Greeting for «no answer» option, which will play for all incoming calls when there’s no answer

• Greeting for «busy» option, which will play only when the line is busy

To record the greeting, in main menu dial 3 and then press

• 1 to record “personal greeting”

• 2 to record “no answer greeting”

• 3 to record “busy greeting”

• 0 for additional functions\options

When you are in main menu you can press:

• 1 to play voice messages

• 2 to send a voice message

• 3 to delete a voice message

• hash to save a voice message

• 0 to access additional functions\settings
