On 14 April 2026, Bakcell CEO Klaus Mueller resigned from his position. Klaus Mueller, who has more than 30 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry, announced his decision to retire.

During Klaus Mueller’s leadership, Bakcell entered a phase of strategic development, with expanded application of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, introduction of innovative products and services, implementation of rebranding, expansion of its service portfolio, and important steps taken to enhance the subscriber experience.

“For over three years, together with the team, we have achieved strong results, particularly in the development of AI-based services. We have introduced new products and opportunities for subscribers through local and international partnerships. I would like to thank every member of the Bakcell team for their professionalism and cooperation.
