Bakcell – the First Mobile Operator and the Leading Mobile Internet Provider of Azerbaijan supports the project of “InfoMas” Public Union, which involves the participation of the School students in the International Olympiad in Informatics. Within the framework of this project, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, special training courses were organized for 4 school students, who managed to distinguish themselves in the field of informatics (Tahir Alizade, Aliaga Shirinov, Elgun Jabrailzade and Fateh Ibrahimli). Within the training program organized according to the relevant requirements, numerous trainings were conducted with the participation of the international consultants invited from abroad for the selected talented School students. In order to assist children with the preparation for the various Olympiads, training materials covering more than 1000 tasks on algorithms, programming, internet and other subjects used in various prestigious editions were prepared and published. The school students representing Azerbaijan at the International Olympiad in Informatics will be heading to Taiwan on July, 11th. International Olympiad in Informatics initiated in the year 1989, plays a significant role in the development of the education and innovative education technologies. The problems used in these Olympiads are more difficult than the ones that can be found in the school curriculum and, therefore, require a specific approach.  Bakcell supports a number of projects aimed at the development of youth in the field of information and communication technologies.  Bakcell believes that this initiative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and InfoMas PU will become very successful and our country will continue participating in the International Olympiads in Informatics.
